ウイルス–宿主相互作用
ウイルスは宿主因子を巧みに利用・制御することで感染と増殖を成立させる一方、宿主は免疫分子による中和や排除機構でこれに対抗しており、両者の絶え間ないせめぎ合いが感染症の帰趨を左右します。
こうした相互作用の構造基盤を、SARS-CoV-2に対する中和抗体や、狂犬病ウイルスPタンパク質による宿主因子STAT1の標的化機構など、様々なウイルスを対象に明らかにしています。
